A Personal God

He hears you. He sees you. He cares.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care." — Matthew 10:29
A Personal God

Do You Feel Far From God?

Many people who believe in God still feel a deep sense of distance from Him — as though He is "out there" somewhere, managing the universe from a great height, too busy or too holy to notice the details of one ordinary life. That feeling is understandable, but the Bible tells a very different story. The same God who sustains the cosmos is the God who meets people in their most personal, private moments of need.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
— Psalm 34:18

Why Does God Feel Silent?

This is one of the most honest questions a person of faith can ask. There are seasons when God feels utterly silent — when prayers seem to go unanswered and the heavens feel like brass. But silence is not the same as absence. Even in the darkest chapters of the Bible — Job's suffering, David's psalms of despair, Jesus crying out from the cross — God was present, working in ways that weren't yet visible. His silence is never indifference.

Why Doesn't He Fix Things?

This question sits at the heart of faith. If God is all-powerful and all-loving, why doesn't He intervene more? The Bible doesn't give us a simple answer — but it does give us a God who enters into suffering rather than eliminating it. Jesus himself experienced hunger, loss, betrayal, and death. God is not distant from pain. He is acquainted with it. And His promise is not that life will be painless, but that He will never leave us to face it alone.
